Mandee Pingel

Over the years, Mandee Pingel has earned a reputation for being a zealous advocate with several unique niches in the law, including serving military families, addressing high conflict, high asset and/or complicated divorce and family law cases and she is most proud that she connects with her clients in a compassionate way guiding them through a stressful life process with kindness and respect.

As with many legal professionals, Mandee Pingel has focused her career on serving clients with family law matters and needs. She is a trial attorney licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas. Mandee focuses her family law practice on all aspects of family law, but is particularly passionate about helping clients with unique or difficult issues where clients have struggled to find an appropriate legal professional. Often these cases involve high-conflict divorce, complex custody litigation such as circumstances of child abuse or parental alienation (now known as refuse and resist dynamics), post-divorce custody/financial modifications, paternity, adoption, visitation/parenting issues, child support, and grandparents’ rights. Mandee is also a proud advocate for individuals who need a strong advocate through her work with the LGBTQIA+ community, the military community (serving our nation’s servicemembers and their family members), as well as federal workers.  Throughout the course of her work, Mandee has been involved with all levels of the courts within Kansas and Missouri. This includes circuit and district courts, courts of appeal, and the Missouri/Kansas Supreme Courts. Many other industry professionals refer clients to her firm because of her reputation for excellence and her well known and well respected legal advocacy skills. Being licensed in both, Kansas and Missouri often allows clients needing information and/or having family law matters on both sides of the state line, a particularly valuable advocate in Mandee and her team. 

As a spouse and mother, Mandee Pingel takes her job seriously – and personally. While she works tirelessly for her clients, she is motivated by her three children and supporting them in their educational and various extracurricular activities. Mandee is relatable and personable and understands the significance of what she is fighting for on behalf of your family given the value she puts in her own.  It is easy for her to empathize with her clients, adding a personal touch to their court cases and the care that she provides to them as they are maneuvering through a stressful court process. This helps her understand her clients better – all while providing superior service.

After working for more than 15 years as a partner of a law firm, in 2021, Mandee Pingel founded Pingel Family Law, LLC. Mandee was proud to found the firm so that she could develop and build a culture that represented her beliefs. It was essential to Mandee that the firm prioritize our clients, as well as a balanced lifestyle for our invaluable employees. By respecting our team and their work-life balance, they come to the office ready to passionately serve our clients. Pingel Family Law proudly focuses on empowerment and compassion above all else. To build a successful legal career, Mandee is proud of the strong education she has received. She attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Unsurprisingly, Mandee graduated with honors, showcasing an early passion for excellence.Mandee continued her education for law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, to obtain her Juris Doctor law degree. Once again, she excelled with her work, graduating in the top twenty percent of her class, receiving the top grade in several law school classes, working on three law review journals and engaging in a host of civic volunteer and other community involvement activities..

Over the years, Mandee Pingel has been a member of several professional legal journals. As such, she has written several articles for the Journal of Matrimonial Attorneys (the official publication of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers), among several other publications.

On a more personal level, Mandee Pingel is married to Dr. Jason Pingel. They have three children and work together to support their children’s passions (including competitive soccer, a traveling cheer team, among many other activities and community events). Outside of work, Mandee loves to travel, especially with her family. Likewise, the entire family is active in their community, supporting several philanthropic organizations that the family believes in. Mandee has always felt it is important to give back to one’s community; her work has further instilled this belief.
